What will treatment involve?

Treatment involves a consultation to get to the bottom of your issues as well as making a plan to help you achieve your goals and get you back to doing what you love. Getting there will often involve goal setting and therapeutic exercise prescription as well as hands on techniques and other modalities.  Diane offers an integrated approach and treatments are tailored to meet your specific needs  - whether that be recovering from injury, regaining mobility or working with persistent pain.

What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy focuses on restoring movement and function to individuals affected by injury, illness, or disability. It combines various techniques, including exercise, therapy, and education, to help patients recover and improve their quality of life. Physiotherapists assess each patient’s needs and develop personalized treatment plans to promote healing and enhance mobility.

What is Clinical and Sports Massage?

Clinical and Sports Massage (sometimes referred to as soft tissue therapy) is a specialized approach to relieving tension and pain, and facilitating recovery from injury in the body's connective tissues. This therapy employs advanced and targeted massage techniques such as myofascial release, soft tissue release, trigger point therapy and assisted stretching to promote healing and improve overall mobility. It's an effective treatment option to address musculoskeletal issues and aids in addressing short or longer term pain or injury.
